BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Lash Extensions, Lash Lift & Brow Lamination -
We kindly ask everyone to arrive with clean (mascara and eyeliner free) lashes. Eyebrow makeup is okay if you want your artist to see how you are used to filling in your brows. You will need to keep your lashes and/or brows from water after your appointment for 24 hours so planning ahead to shower is always encouraged!
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Lash Extensions, Lash Lift & Brow Lamination -
Do not get your lashes or brows wet for the next 24 hours.
This will allow the glue to dry thoroughly and your perm to set. Avoid steam from a shower, sauna, tanning bed, and even direct heat from the outdoors on a summer day to ensure the best bond.
Avoid oil-based products around your Lash Extensions or Lash Lift.
Oil is the one thing that will dissolve the lash glue so make sure to be mindful of what products you may be applying around your lashes. This includes makeup removers, lotions and cleansers.
Make sure to clean your Lash Extensions every day.
Not only does cleansing take off any oil build up that will break down the glue but is also necessary for your natural lashes’ general hygiene. You can do so by lightly applying an oil-free foaming cleanser to your lashes and rinse off with water. Gently pat down on your extensions with your clean fingers after to get rid of excess water instead of rubbing your lashes against a towel for happy, healthy lashes!
Brush your Lash Extensions twice a day.
After every appointment, I will give you a spoolie brush you are encouraged to put your lashes back in place and keep your folicles happy.
Do not pick or pull at your Lash Extensions.
This is the most damaging to your natural lashes as it causes your natural lash to split in half. Avoid rubbing your eyes as much as possible to keep your extensions looking their best.
Do not wear mascara on your lash extensions.
Most mascaras have oil-based products in them and will dissolve the bonding agent and shorten the life of your extensions dramatically. Mascara can also cause clumps, close your extensions’ fans, and make it extremely hard to remove afterwards; therefor ruin the quality of application.

FRECKLE TATTOO
What to expect:
Within minutes after your procedure the flesh around your freckles will swell a bit. Don't worry, this will subside within 2-24 hours. Your freckles will also begin to oxidize and appear darker- this happens when your body forms a scab. The darkness will last for however long it takes for your new tattoo to heal. Some areas will begin to flake around day 3 or 4, and will take about 5-7 days for the remaining dark freckles to flake off completely (this could take longer if you’re a slow healer). DO NOT PICK AT THEM! This is extremely important. Picking at the freckles before they’re ready to flake off on their own will almost always result in pigment loss. Not completely necessary, but you are welcome to book in for a touch up 4-6 weeks later to layer the tones and make them appear even more realistic, or to add more!
Cleanse & Moisturize the area:
Gently clean the area 24 hours after your appointment using a liquid, mild, fragrance free soap using only your hands. Do not use a rag or any other kind of facial cleaning tool/brush– these contain bacteria and can cause infection, and they can cause the scabs to come off before they should which almost always results in pigment loss. Be sure to rinse all of the soap off and then pat dry with a clean dry paper towel. In your aftercare kit, I have provided you with Zensa healing cream to aid in wound healing and help relieve skin inflammations. Apply a light amount to your new tattoo day and night until fully healed (begin using 24 hours after appointment.)
DO NOT apply makeup over your healing freckles.
This will almost always result in either infection, or pigment loss. Skincare/makeup can effect the way that the newly implanted pigment bonds with your skin. Once you see that the freckles have all flaked (you may not notice the flaking, they might just appear lighter) you can apply makeup over them.
DO NOT apply harsh skincare products over your healing freckles.
You will want to wait at least 2 weeks before using any harsh skincare products, and avoid any ingredients that cause photosensitivity because they will cause the freckles to fade even faster than they normally do. Below I will list common ingredients that cause photo sensitivity.
AHA’s & BHA’s (lactic, glycolic, salicylic), Benzoyl Peroxide, Hydroquinone, Retinol & Retinoids, Topical Prescriptions, some Essential Oils (bergamot, bitter orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, mandarin leaf), Fruit Enzymes.
AVOID Excessive Sweating/Saunas/Swimming.
Please refrain from any excessive sweating, saunas, or swimming for 3 days after getting your freckle tattoo to ensure proper healing.
Avoid Tanning Beds/ Sun Exposure.
Do not use tanning beds/ avoid sun exposure while you’re actively healing (7-10 days) and limit exposure even after you’re healed. UVA/UVB rays cause tattoos to fade and become discolored. Always use sunscreen on your freckles!
